The Venue

When we were discussing wedding venues one of my soccer players told me about Aldridge Botanical Gardens (http://aldridgegardens.com/). We visited it and loved it immediately. There are so many beautiful spaces in the gardens, including a large lake. I visited it yesterday with my fam and they were setting up for a wedding. This picture was taken around 4 o'clock and our ceremony will be at 6. The arbor you see here is filled with little christmas lights, so it will be all lit up for us. There are many other ceremony sites over the gardens. This is my favorite. The reception site is right beside it, in a covered pavillion (with a thousand ceiling fans!). We haven't decided much more than this, except hanging lanterns would be really nice in the pavillion.
